«Keep the Beat Alive» is My Little Pony fan song by BroniKoni band. Originally released in 2013, this alternative rock track has gone through some drastic changes in both arrangement and sound design, with the electronic and orchestral vibe. The new version of the song is released as the 3rd single from the BroniKoni’s upcoming debut album called «Friendship Express», and you can certainly call this the «definitive version» of this track.

The song is about the Equestria’s greatest DJ – Vinyl Scratch. After all these years we can clearly relate to her – it’s not so easy to keep the beat going when it seems like every little mistake on stage can hurt somepony’s ears. But when you see the crowd going insane because of your music and hear somepony’s «thank you, it was awesome» after the show – you realize that it’s totally worth it.
